Statement of Purpose

Provides faculty, administration, and classified staff the opportunity to maximize their professional and personal development through a planned program of activities and resources that support the mission and goals of the college (Staff Development Plan 8/5/97)

Ensures that opportunities for professional growth are made available to faculty, staff and administrators under the guidelines of AB 1725 (Ed. Code 87150)



Meeting Dates:

The 2nd Tuesday, and 4th Wednesday of each month, at 12:00 noon in the Academic Affairs Conference Room

Current Projects

• On 9/01/00 a comprehensive Staff Development Plan of activitities and projects including responsible party, and timeline for all three segments of Staff Development (Faculty,Classified,Adminsitration, and Executive training and development) was adopted by the committee
  
• Reports on Staff Development Activities are made to the College Council and Academic Senate each month.
