cracking the soil
from your toes
scrubbing callus
beneath your heels
rubbing alcohol
on your blisters
clipping the nails
hardened by weather
wrapping towel
about your feet
drying what was
once dirt
spraying incense
of wild flower
resting forever
upon a pillow
